In the Geofabrik Türkiye extract (3 November 2026) there are 1,301 springs, 7,313 fountains, 782 wells, 4,077 ponds, 3,227 reservoirs and 2,316 dams. Records mapped by volunteers; they may be incomplete. A place without a point on the map is not a place without water.

- Village point: the same place as in the "Will I find water on my land?" tool (village, neighbourhood and hamlet; OpenStreetMap, 25 October 2026 extract).
- Types (OpenStreetMap tag): spring natural=spring; fountain amenity=drinking_water, amenity=water_point, man_made=water_tap, and amenity=fountain only when its name contains "çeşme" or it has a historic tag; well man_made=water_well; pond natural=water + water=pond/basin, landuse=basin; reservoir landuse=reservoir, natural=water + water=reservoir; dam waterway=dam.
- Distance: straight line from the village point to the feature; for areas and lines (reservoirs, ponds, dam bodies) the nearest edge. Computed by the site in metres on a local flat projection.
- Adjacent areas: ponds and reservoir areas of the same type, with the same name or both unnamed, closer than 100 m to each other count as one record (2,605 OSM areas grouped into 641 records).
- Coverage: records within 5 km are counted; the nearest 15 are listed, each with its last edit date on OpenStreetMap.
- Limit: a record does not show that a source flows today or that its water is drinkable. DSİ spring and well records cannot be reached from this server, so the list holds only OpenStreetMap records.
